Less-than-truckload company Kaiser Transport Inc. said it has received a platinum award from insurance provider Great West Casualty Co. as part of the 2005 National Fleet Safety Awards program. The program, which drew nearly 450 entries nationwide, recognizes carriers for achieving a low preventable accident frequency per million miles of operation.
Milan Express, a Tennesseebased trucking company, said it has received Lowe's Home Improvement's Gold Carrier award for 2005. The company received the award at a recent carrier meeting at Lowe's headquarters in North Wilkesboro, N.C.
