WYOMING: Highway Projects

CHEYENNE - Despite ucertain federal funding and unpredictable inflation, the Wyoming Department of Transportation has assembled a blueprint of proposed highway projects that would cost $238.9 million over the next year.

Early this month, the agency released the tentative plan - called the 2007 Slate Transportation Improvement Program - for public review before it goes to the state Transportation Commission in September for approval.

The plan lays out proposed construction projects on 441 miles of roadway and salelv improvements lor fiscal year 2007 and proxidcs a glimpse ol planned projects four years beyond.
