Intermec, Symbol Resolve Differences

Intermec Inc. and Symbol Technologies, competitors in barcode technology, radio-frequency identification (RFID) and mobile computers, jointly announced an agreement they said settled all intellectual property disputes between them.

lntermec and Symbol said in a IuIy 1 8 statement that they have "cross-licensed" certain patents and signed four-year covenants not to sue over remaining patents.

They did not divulge the specific terms of the settlement. - iTECH
