Ceridian Fires Comdata President Gary Krow

Ceridian Corp. said it fired Gary Krow, president of its Comdata fuelcard subsidiary, accusing him of disclosing confidential information during unauthorized meetings with hedge fund Pershing Square Capital.
The company also said it appointed Jim Burns, who is executive vice president of Ceridian and heads its international division, as Krow's successor on an interim basis.
"The violations include unauthorized meetings with and disclosures of confidential information to Pershing Square Capital and other third parties," Ceridian said in a statement.
Pete Stoddart, a Ceridian spokesman, declined further comment.
Comdata said it learned of the meetings as part of a lawsuit filed by Pershing that seeks the release of critical letters Krow allegedly wrote about...
