Menlo Worldwide Earns Award From Global Institute of Logistics

Menlo Worldwide's European operations received the Global Institute of Logistics Award of Excellence for outstanding contribution to the development of the logistics services provision sector, the company announced May 14. Menfo received the award during a ceremony at its logistics facility in Eersel, Netherlands.
According to the institute, Menlo was selected because of its success in applying the principles of "lean" manufacturing, which seeks to remove wasteful, unnecessary processes, to the logistics service provision sector.
