Transplace's First Chairman Leaves, New Regional Sales Directors Hired

Transplace Inc. President Thomas Sanderson said that Chairman Jun-Sheng Li has left the company to pursue other business opportunities.
In addition, the company said it hired five new sales directors.
Li had led Transplace since the company's founding in 2000, when J.B. Hunt Transport Services and five other truckload carriers decided to combine their logistics assets into a new freight management company.
As president of J.B. Hunt Logistics, Li developed a computer model to match shipments and truckload freight-hauling capacity. The company now provides a wide range of supply chain consulting, transportation management and freight brokerage services.
