Patriot CEO Anderson to Retire in February

Patriot Transportation Holding Inc. announced that Chief Executive Officer John Anderson will retire in February after leading the company since 1989.
Anderson will continue to serve as a member of Patriot's board of directors, the company said in a Dec. 5 statement.
John Baker, former president of orida Rock Industries, will succeed Anderson. Florida Rock Industries, a construction and building materials manufacturer, was bought by Vulcan Materials Corp. in November.
Anderson served on Patriot's board from 1989 to 2004 and returned to the board in 2005. Baker has been on Patriot s board since 1986.
Patriot, Jacksonville, Fla., is the parent company of tanker and bulk carrier Florida Rock and Tank Lines and of flatbed carrier SunBelt Transportation.
