USF Holland Offers New U.S.-Canada Delivery Service

Transport Topics, February, 2008 by Anonymous

Less-than-truckload carrier USF Holland said Jan. 22 it launched a new guaranteed service to and from Canada.

All guaranteed and expedited services will be backed by the company's guarantee that deliveries will be on-time and intact or no invoice will be sent, the YRC Worldwide unit said in a statement. USF Holland said it was the first regional LTL carrier to offer time-specific guaranteed delivery before 3:30 p.m. between the United States and Canada.

USF Holland said that service by noon and by 9 p.m., now offered within the U.S. domestic system of USF Holland, will be offered between the two countries later this year.

YRC Worldwide ranks No. 4 on the Transport Topics list of the 100 largest U.S. and Canadian for-hire carriers.
