India-based Taneja Developers plans 14 malls by 2007.

Dec. 19--NEW DELHI -- The Delhi-based Rs 300-crore real estate group Taneja Developers & Infrastructure Ltd (TDI), the flagship company of the Taneja Group, plans to open 14 malls by 2007 in major cities of north India.

The group has also announced its plan to launch a TDI City, a 300 acres residential township, at Kundli, Haryana. The total investment on this expansion plan is estimated to be more than Rs 350 crore.

Kamal Taneja, MD, TDI said, "In the first phase of expansion, we are going to open eight malls and the rest six will come up in the second phase which will be completed by 2007.
