Infosys to report quarterly results in India via Web-access wireless phones.

Jan. 6--If you can get cricket scores on your mobile phone, why not company results?

Infosys will be the first company in India to disseminate its third quarter (Q3) current fiscal results through mobile telephony.

Highlights of the leading software giant's Q3 results to be announced next week, can be got through SMS, voice or WAP (wireless application protocol, which allows mobile phone users to access the internet), the company disclosed on Wednesday.

Mobile phone users subscribing to service provider Airtel and Hutch can also hear the results in English or Hindi by dialing a specific number.
