Hopeful consumer durables, automobile companies and retailers are dressing up with festive offers and freebies to help the consumer splurge.
"Looks like this will be the best festive season we've ever had," says Pantaloon Retail India managing director Kishore Biyani, who is counting on the feel-good sentiment to bag Rs 200-crore sales this festive season over Rs 100 crore last year.
