Feb. 3--If investment banking is considered to be one of the world's most glamorous professions, it's with good reason. While they crack million-dollar deals in super-heated markets by day, investment bankers cool off at some of the city's most upmarket haunts by night.
If the adage of 'birds of a feather flock together' holds true, then it holds truer here. I discover this over a drink with a member of the clan in Mumbai.
It's 1900 hours when I meet my host at Geoffrey's. Dimly lit and heavy on wood, the place is reminiscent of a typical London pub. Television sets beam sports on one end of the pub while a news channel blares the day's market movement analysis on the other.
