M&M may lend expertise to RIL's agri-retail venture.

Aug. 4--New DELHI: Even as the Reliance agri and retail juggernaut rolls on, several industrial groups are keen to join as strategic input providers, suppliers and partners.
M&M is perhaps the most advanced among such players, and could be a strategic partner with Reliance Retail for their much publicised agri-business and retail project. This is specially in the tractors and farm implements, spare parts, corporate farming and extension services.
According to an internal communique -- of the M&M group, in possession with ET, the group is looking at developing close synergies with Reliance Industries (RIL) in the business of rural retail, agri implements and agri services businesses.
