Aug. 16--NEW DELHI -- Although, it is still early for Madison Avenue chaps to even think of following in the footsteps of their Silicon Valley brethren in wearing T-shirts with 'My job just got Mumbai-ed', the Rs 13,000-crore-odd Indian advertising industry has made small, but significant steps off-late towards becoming a global outsourcing powerhouse.
Tribal DDB, Mudra's digital marketing arm, recently won a million-dollar account of managing British Telecom's (BT) global business-to-business online communication exercise. Tribal DDB won the account in a multi-agency pitch held at London where they had to present on strategy and creativity.
