Piyush Pandey elected to Ogilvy Worldwide board.

Sep. 24--MUMBAI, India -- Veteran ad man Piyush Pandey has added another feather to his cap. The executive chairman and national creative director of Ogilvy & Mather India has been elected to the Ogilvy Worldwide board.
Mr Pandey's nomination to the Ogilvy board comes three years after he was inducted into Ogilvy's Worldwide Creative Council, which sets the creative agenda for the WPP-owned agency network.
"This is a huge recognition of the work I have put in at Ogilvy India, and a great honour. It means I am important to the company; it also implies India is important to Ogilvy," said Mr Pandey.
