Jadavpur Univ inks MoU with Canadian varsity.

Oct. 21--KOLKATA, India -- Jadavpur University (JU) has inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with York University, Canada's third-largest university. This agreement covers academic co-operation in the areas of education technology, nanoscience and technology, film studies and history.
Speaking to ET, Rajat Bandyopadhyay, registrar, JU, said, "This agreement with York University will involve student and faculty exchanges as well as administrative exchanges. Research in these disciplines will also fall under the purview of this collaboration." "We have been carrying on a dialogue with the York University regarding this collaboration ever since '04-05, but our talks have just materialised," he added.
