Starry placement season ahead for IIM-C.

Oct. 26--KOLKATA, India -- Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta (IIM-C) has a star-studded line-up of companies coming down in November for summer placements-2006. While the number of Slot Zero firms, where the best-known national and international recruiters are slotted, is expected to go up by more than 100 per cent to 25, big-ticket names like UBS, Credit Suisse and ABN Amro are coming for the first time for the summers.
According to an IIM-C report, this year will also see an increase in the number of international recruiters, especially with likes of Goldman Sachs, Merrill Lynch and JP Morgan also recruiting for Indian positions.
