Cost accountants set to venture into CAs' territory.

Nov. 4--NEW DELHI -- Chartered Accountants (CAs) would soon face competition from their professional cousins -- the cost accountants. The Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India (ICWAI) has decided to change the syllabus of its cost accountancy course to enable these professionals to do financial auditing, currently the exclusive domain of CAs.
