IITK, MIT may join hands to promote entrepreneurship.

Nov. 4--KOLKATA, India -- In a bid to promote entrepreneurial activity among students and alumni, the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur (IITK), is trying to establish formal linkages with leading institutes like the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), University of Colorado, Boulder, Cornell University and Taiwan's National Chiao Tung University.
Towards the same end, for the very first time, the institute's entrepreneurship cell is organising a unique entrepreneur summit. Dhrubes Biswas, chief technology officer, IITK, told ET: "While informal linkages already exist with these institutes, we have initiated the process of signing MoUs with them to develop entrepreneurship programmes.
