141 Marketing to become part of O&M's local arm.

Nov. 4--NEW DELHI -- The Ogilvy & Mather India network, a WPP group company with interests in advertising, PR, activation and direct marketing, is getting a new member -- 141 Marketing, the activation arm of Bates Enterprise, also a WPP group entity.

Interestingly, in India this is happening at a time when O&M is also in the process of parting ways with its second advertising agency, David, which ironically is going through a process of merger with none other than Bates Enterprise.

Pratap Bose, CEO, Ogilvy & Mather, said he would not like to make any comments on this 'new' addition to the family at this time. Globally, post the Cordiant group's acquisition by WPP, 141 Marketing came under the Ogilvy & Mather network three...
