Nov. 10--AHMEDABAD, India -- Gujarat's appetite for port infrastructure seems insatiable. After identifying as many as eight greenfield port sites to be developed with private participation, the state government wants to add more sites to the list.

Gujarat Maritime Board (GMB), state's maritime authority, has already taken a decision to develop more greenfield ports sites.

Last month, the GMB took a decision at its board meeting to appoint a consultant to conduct a techno-feasibility study for identifying more greenfield port sites.
