Apollo Tyres to leverage Dunlop sales network.

Nov. 23--NEW DELHI : Tyre major Apollo Tyres is set to cross the $1-billion mark in consolidated revenues in the current financial year.
The company plans to commercially launch its truck and bus radial tyres in January and also plans to leverage the distribution network of Dunlop South Africa, which it acquired earlier this year, to launch new products in that region. The company is also eyeing acquisitions both in India and overseas.
Apollo Tyres joint managing director & COO Neeraj Kanwar told ET that the company will be leveraging Dunlop's European distribution system and would be launching several products for the European market. For starters, the company will launch a radial tyre in the high-end passenger car...
