Cognizant team to ring Nasdaq opening bell.

Feb. 24--CHENNAI, India -- Cognizant Technology Solutions' top management team will ring the NASDAQ opening bell remotely from its campus in Chennai on March 5th, making the tech major second company after Infosys to do it from India.
Cognizant, which has over 77 percent of its total workforce working out of India, over half of them in Chennai, was listed in Nasdaq in 1998. It has also been a part of Nasdaq 100 Index since 2004.
Mr Francisco D'Souza, President and CEO of Cognizant said in a statement, "Cognizant is honored to open the NASDAQ market from India, commemorating our rapid growth as a global services firm since our initial public offering nearly nine years ago and India's emergence as a global leader in the IT and BPO services industries"....
