Jun. 17--Globally the grey or fake market has seen exponential growth. Japanese Motorcycle manufacturers have found counterfeit versions of their products all over the world. Five out of six Yamaha bikes sold in the world are fakes. 10 percent of the personal care products traded worldwide are counterfeit.

In the UK, counterfeit auto parts (suspension parts, brake pads etc.) account for nearly 10 percent of the national market. The potential profit margins on a standard container load of 42,000 cartons of counterfeit branded cigarettes sold in the UK is worth $2 million.
