Pre-placement offers flood IIM-B; Day Zero cos lead way.

Sep. 25--BANGALORE, India -- Pre-placements offers (PPOs) are flowing into the IIM-Bangalore campus. This year students have bagged 73 offers till now. In 2006, by the end of the year the college had received 60 PPOs and before final placements began, nearly 75 offers had poured in.
The initial trend shows that most offers have come in from Day Zero companies that include consultancy firms and investment banks. All consulting firms like McKinsey & Co, The Boston Consulting Group (BCG), Bain & Co, AT Kearney and Trilogy have given PPOs to summer interns they hired from the campus.
