                Cable & Wireless completes Energis acquisition 
 
Cable and Wireless plc ("Cable & Wireless")announces today, 11 November 2005, 
the completion of the acquisition of Energis and the appointment of John Pluthero 
to its board of directors as Executive Director of the Cable & Wireless UK 
business with effect from 14 November 2005. 
 
Commenting, Cable & Wireless Group CEO, Francesco Caio said: "I am delighted 
that the transaction has completed and that we can now focus on integrating our 
two businesses."
