                    ROLLS-ROYCE TRENT 1000 ENGINES SELECTED 
                       BY LCAL TO POWER BOEING 787 FLEET 
 
Newly-launched aircraft leasing company, LCAL (Low Cost Aircraft Leasing), has 
announced its selection of the Rolls-Royce Trent 1000 engine to power six 
Boeing 787 Dreamliners. The value of the engine deal alone is $160 million at 
list prices, Rolls-Royce said today at the Dubai Air Show. 
 
In addition, the engines will be covered by a TotalCare (TCA) service agreement 
which gives lifetime protection for each powerplant and is portable between 
LCAL's customers. 
 
LCAL is the first leasing company to order the Trent-powered 787 and deliveries
