Anheuser-Busch Cos. Reports Increased Sales and Earnings for the Second
Quarter and First Six Months of 2006
ST. LOUIS, July 27 -- Anheuser-Busch Cos. Inc. (NYSE: BUD) today reported
that second quarter 2006 net sales increased 5.9 percent and diluted earnings
per share (excluding one-time income tax related gains in both 2006 and 2005)
increased 9.5 percent(1). For the first six months of 2006, net sales increased
5.7 percent and diluted earnings per share (excluding one-time gains in both
years) improved 7.4 percent(1).
