PRIVATE EQUITY INVESTOR PLC ("PEQ" or the Company)
Baidu.com Inc
PEQ is pleased to report that it has received a distribution of 146,301 shares
in Baidu.Com Inc from its investment in Draper Fisher Jurvetson ePlanet
Ventures LP. These shares were subsequently sold by the Company at a small
premium to their distribution price of $76.70 per share raising $11.3 million.
The premium to the current carrying value in the Company's portfolio of these
shares adds approximately US 8.76 cents per share to PEQ's Net Asset Value.
Following this sale, PEQ will have disposed of approximately 90% of the Baidu
shares that it anticipates it will receive from Draper Fisher Jurvetson ePlanet
Ventures LP.
