Tullett Prebon plc today announced its preliminary results for the year ended
31 December 2006. The highlights are:
- Demerger of Collins Stewart effective 19 December 2006.
- Return of [pounds sterling]301.5m of capital to shareholders expected to be made on
20 March 2007.
- Proposed final dividend of 6p per share.
- Acquisition of Chapdelaine completed 11 January 2007.
Continuing operations results:
- Revenue [pounds sterling]654.1m (2005: [pounds sterling]649.4m) - underlying growth of 5%.
- Operating profit [pounds sterling]114.8m (2005: [pounds sterling]90.7m before exceptional items) -
