Result of Stockholders' meeting and redemption of outstanding Debenture Stock
At a meeting of holders of the Company's 6.75 per cent. Debenture Stock 2023
(the "Stock") held earlier today the extraordinary resolution to modify the
terms of the trust deed constituting the Stock, so as to allow for early
redemption was duly passed.
The Stock will be redeemed on 30 March 2007 at a price set by reference to the
yield on the reference gilt as at 3.00pm today, resulting in a price of [pounds sterling]
120.213362 per [pounds sterling]100 nominal of Stock plus accrued interest.
The redemption of the Stock will be funded partly from existing cash resources
