BOARD ANNOUNCEMENT
London Scottish Bank plc (the "Company") is pleased to announce the appointment
of Robin Ashton as Chief Executive of the Company. Robin will take up his
position on 3rd December 2007.
Robin was most recently Chief Executive of Provident Financial plc, a leading
UK provider of unsecured personal credit, a position he held from 2001 to 2006.
Prior to 2001, he held a number of senior positions with Provident Financial,
which he joined in 1983, including Group Finance Director.
Robin qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1982 with Coopers & Lybrand and
lives in Ilkley, West Yorkshire.
