Serco Group plc ('Serco') today announces the appointment of Tom Corcoran as a 
Non-Executive Director. Tom will take up this post as of today, December 3, 
2007. 
 
With 40 years of global business experience Tom brings a wealth of knowledge, 
particularly in the US aerospace and defense contracting industry. He is 
currently Senior Advisor, The Carlyle Group, a Washington, DC, based private 
equity firm and he is President of Corcoran Enterprises, LLC, a management 
consulting firm. 
 
 
Tom has held a variety of senior positions in the aerospace, defence and 
electronics industries including Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of
