REGULATORY UPDATE
London, UK - 11 March 2008: Emap plc (EMA.L) announced that it has today
received confirmation from Eden Bidco Limited that all regulatory
conditions for the Scheme to effect the recommended acquisition of Emap by
Eden Bidco Limited have been satisfied, complied with or waived in
accordance with the terms of the Scheme.
In particular, The European Commission cleared the acquisition from any
proceedings that might have been initiated under Council Regulation (EC)
139/2004 on Friday 7 March.
The Effective Date of the Scheme is expected to be 20 March 2008.
