G4S PLC - Statement re Block Listing of Shares.

                           BLOCK LISTING APPLICATION 
 
Application has been made to the UK Listing Authority and to the London Stock 
Exchange for a block listing of 627,790 ordinary shares of 25p each to trade on 
the London Stock Exchange and to be admitted to the Official List upon 
issuance. The shares will rank pari passu with the existing issued shares of 
G4S plc. 
 
The shares under the block listing are to be issued under the Securicor 
Executive Share Option Scheme. Shares issued under this scheme will also become 
listed, at regular intervals, on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
