                COURT HEARING TO SANCTION SCHEME OF ARRANGEMENT 
 
London, UK - 14 March 2008: Emap plc (EMA.L) announces that the High Court of 
Justice has today made an order sanctioning the Scheme of Arrangement to effect 
the recommended acquisition of Emap by Eden Bidco Limited. 
 
Dealings in Emap Shares are expected to be suspended from 6.00p.m. on 18 March 
2008 and Emap will cease to be admitted to trading on the Official List of the 
London Stock Exchange on the Effective Date of the Scheme, which is expected to 
be 20 March 2008.
