SCHEME OF ARRANGEMENT BECOMES EFFECTIVE AND
SHARES ARE DE-LISTED
London, UK - 20 March 2008: Emap plc today announces that the Scheme of
Arrangement to effect the recommended acquisition of Emap by Eden Bidco Limited
has become effective in accordance with its terms.
The listing of Emap shares on the Official List has been cancelled and
consequently Emap shares ceased to be admitted to trading on the London Stock
Exchange, both with effect from 8.00 a.m. (London time) this morning.
Settlement of the Cash Consideration in respect of Emap shares and the issue of
certificates in respect of the Loan Notes under the Loan Note Alternative will
be effected within 14 days of...
