UNITED UTILITIES TRADING UPDATE
United Utilities PLC today issues an update on trading for the year ending 31
March 2008. The company will announce its preliminary results on 3 June 2008.
Commenting on the group's trading position, Philip Green, Chief Executive,
said:
"The group is on track to deliver results in line with our expectations for the
year ending 31 March 2008.
"We are focused on building on the operational and customer service
improvements already achieved and I am pleased to report that we remain on
course to meet the tougher leakage target set by Ofwat for 2007/08."
