The Coca-Cola Co. has revamped its Powerade line to better compete with Pepsi-Cola's newest product line, Gatorade. The company has reformulated Powerade with vitamins B3, B6 and B12, and has added Powerade Light, which contains 50 percent fewer calories than the original formula. In addition, the brand has taken on a new look, with a futuristic-looking "P" as its logo, and labels that complement the color of the product.

Like the original formula, the new Powerade contains 8 percent carbohydrates and will be available in the same seven flavors. Powerade Light will be available in Andean Chill, a clear white grape and strawberry flavor, and Aleutian Stream, a blend of apple, pear and cherry flavors.
