Cadec Corp., Nashville, Tenn., has adopted Aether Fusion to provide cost-effective, real-time wireless data access to the transportation industry. Aether Fusion, Aether's single-source foundation for wireless access to information and applications, will provide wide-area wireless connectivity to Cadec's Mobius TTS, a high-powered onboard computer.
The Mobius TTS provides access to precise data, such as vehicle monitoring, automated DOT logs and fuel tax reporting, and currently uses short range RF to transmit data. The new system will allow Cadec to offer customers secure and reliable wide-area wireless access to real-time data.
