Home Showcase Design Center in St. Charles holds open house

More than 3,000 people from St. Charles County visited the Home Showcase & Design Center, located at 1696 Country Club Plaza, over the weekend to help celebrate the company's grand opening.

The Home Showcase & Design Center is housed in the 40,000-square- foot building previously occupied by Heilig Meyer Furniture Co. The store was remodeled to accommodate more than 60 different home- improvement business owners.

The grand-opening celebrations, which took place Dec. 4 and 5, included product demonstrations by vendors, complimentary food and drinks from Yippie-ie-o Grille and drawings.
