PROJECT OVERVIEW:

A Sino/American joint venture was recently established in view of building a water treatment plant in Changli County, Hebei province. The new facility is intended to provide clean running water to the country and adjacent resorts. The partners in the planned venture include U.S.-based EARTH TECH INC. and the local CHANGLI WATER SUPPLY CORP. In so doing, the project is to be implemented on the basis of a build-operate (BO) scheme which is expected to last for 20 years.
