PROJECT OVERVIEW:

Mali's Bamako-Senou international airport has been experiencing a surge in passenger and cargo traffic over the last 3 years. In addition, mining is said to have become a more important part of the country's economy and it is in need of more efficient cargo transportation. Likewise, the country will be hosting the 2002, African Nations Soccer Cup. Hence, the government has decided to undertake the expansion of the airport as a top priority.
