PROJECT OVERVIEW:

The local ABU DHABI WATER & ELECTRICITY AUTHORITY (ADWEA) is currently gearing-up to undertake the installation of new substations to be located between the city of Shaikh Zayed in Mussafah and Khalifa city B in Abu Dhabi. In so doing, ADWEA recently retained the services of PB POWER of the U.S. to act as project consultant.

According to the terms of the award, BP will be responsible for preparing project designs. Plans under consideration involve the supply and installation of 5-33/11 Kv substations. These would be sited in various industrial, particularly the Mussafah zone, and residential areas. The cost to complete the project has been pegged at $30,000,000.
