The growth of international trade in Saudi Arabia's non-oil sector has created a demand for support financing services such as insurance against the delayed payment of international debts or the creation of a body to develop mechanisms needed for trade. However, the Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency (SAMA) has yet to heed these demands while commercial banks' have not offered such services since most take their cue from the SAMA.
