Barclays Capital will expand its services to include credit-related business, issuance of securities in the European and Asian markets and the emerging market debt. Barclays CEO Bob Diamond said that the sell-off of the company's BZW franchise's UK and European equities and M&A businesses is part of the reorganization of the company's credit business to incorporate several new services. The loss of its equity issuance, trading and corporate advisory business does not, however, bother Diamond.
