EdVenture Strives to Teach Educators About Technology

MORGANTOWN - In 2001, the EdVenture Group, a non-profit spinoff of the West Virginia High Tech Consortium, started on a mission to teach educators how to use technology to open the minds of their students.

"Some of projects began when we were part of the High Tech Consortium," said EdVenture Group President and CEO Lydotta M. Taylor. "We have continued a lot of those projects and are branching out to look for ways to work with other groups and community members. We're on track with our mission, and we feel very on track with our board of director and strategic plan."

The group has implemented programs in all 55 West Virginia counties, Virginia, western Pennsylvania and Pittsburgh.
