Atlanta-based Zavata Takes Over Billing at Wheeling Hospital

WHEELING - Improving patient care is the primary reason Wheeling Hospital entered into a partnership with Atlantabased Zavata Inc., a hospital spokesman said.

Zavata will manage the hospital's processing of insurance and patient billing, patient registration and credit and collections. The agreement with the global service corporation, which employs more than 5,500 workers worldwide with human resources departments in both the United States and India, resulted in the transfer of 80 hospital employees to Zavata effective March 18, hospital spokesman Gregg Warren said.
