Burton to Recap Workers' Compensation Changes

Four years ago, the West Virginia Legislature revamped the state's ailing workers' compensation system and put the program on a path toward privatization.

Today, BrickStreet Insurance is the private insurance company borne of those reforms.

President and CEO Gregory Burton segued from the former Workers' Compensation Commission to lead BrickStreet, and he is scheduled to update the West Virginia Business Summit about the transition from public to private benefits program for injured workers.
