MORGANTOWN - Students from seven West Virginia colleges have advanced in the Statewide Student Business Plan Competition, the West Virginia University Entrepreneurship Center announced Oct. 12.
Twenty semi-finalist teams will compete in Round 2.
"The competition is growing," said Entrepreneurship Center Director Mindy Walls.
She said entries increased this year from 50 to 66, and the involvement from schools has increased to 11 this year from nine last year.
First-round entries came from teams at Alderson-Broaddus College, Bethany College, Bluefield State College, Concord University, Fairmont State University, Glenville State College, Marshall University, Ohio Valley University, Potomac State College of WVU, West Virginia University and...
